The girl walked into the Dieter common room, her feet walking in time to the music blaring out of her blue headphones that were firmly planted in her ears. She wore a dark blue hoodie with the hood covering her hair and shadowing her face. If her hood wasn't up, any person could see the girl had bright red hair that slowly faded to black the further down your eyes went. Her hair was getting long, almost to her bum. Her bangs were always getting long too, falling past her shoulders now. If her hood wasn't up, anyone could see that her eyes were a pair brown, almost red coloured eyes, big with thin, long lashes framing them. If her hood wasn't up, the average Scream Academy student would identify her as Tamitha Night, another student. Her feet covered by knee high socks and trainers danced slightly to the music as her humming turned to singing. She threw herself onto the sofa and pulled her hood down, her face screwed up in deep thought. She was thinking about a few nights ago. She had a secret that she had had to keep since then. She was usually bad at keeping secrets, but it was all over her face that she was hiding something. "I won't last long, in this world so wrong," she sang quietly, flicking her hair off her face and covering the bare patch between her socks and her shorts with her hoodie, with her knees curled up and her arms folded over them.

((That song amggg <3 xD))
Dieter dorms were a peculiar place; at least that's what Alan Nay. He has never been inside Tien dorms but he has heard of them from his other friends. From what he knew, they were the quite similar. It was only that he heard Tiens had the fireplace; and not only one. He wished Dieter would have one too. Instead, their common room was big and cozy room with numerous doors leading to even more hallways and circurarly placed dorms. It wasn't that he didn't like his dorm, no. Alastor Ford was a great roommate to have, honestly. He even let Alan choose which position on their bunk bed he wanted. And it was not a bad bunk bed either - it reminded so mucb of those old, fancy, Victorian era beds. All the dark scarlet went nicely with the whole setting.
Cutting his musings short, Alan - true to himself - picked up several books. He honestly didn't feel like studying, but hey - it should be better in company. He still assignments and homeworks to think of. Alan went through the labyrinth of halls to Dieter common room. He assumed that it was was precautions - if some of Tien students did get to the common room, they would get lost. Heh, so the old mannor wasn't accidentally built after all.
Arriving at common room, however, he noticed Tam. He supposed the girl was in her usual mood; then again, it didn't hurt to try. He left his books on the random sofa - no one would touch them there away - and waved hello to th redhead.

Her small head looked up at the boy in front of her. She had met him before. Alan, was it? He shared a room with someone else with a similar name, right? She didn't know. Tam just knew the boy was in the dorm next to her. "Yeah? What is it?" She yanked her headphones out, making the music more noticeable, almost clear enough to hear the words from several meters. "Alan, right? Well, what do you want? If it's not important, get lost." Tam knew she was being snappier than usual. It was everything going on getting to her. She even snapped at Dizzy nowadays. The one person she could trust, Tam hadn't even told Dizzy her secret.

The disbelief, annoyance, disappointment, maybe something else was in dark blue eyes. If anything, Alan liked to be think he was patient. But so far, every time he has seen this girl, he was greeted with pretty much same question. Inresidtably, she reminded him of Vittoria, the assistant who took it upon herself to make students' life hell. The one diffetence Alan could see was that Vittoria had some authority. And even so, when have the studenys ever paid attention to something like that...?
Classical Dieter.
He was once called so, but he never dared believe it. Was that the reason he decided to be snwppy as well? He made a face at the older, but shorter girl.
"It's so desperatenof you, thinking that people would want to tell you anything important. What's with the small talk?" - he thanked whoever above for not stuttering halfway through the sentence and finishing it off pretty confident. When you're among snakes, you must be a snake, he assumed. And people who were ready to attack for every little thing - that did put them into same category as the said reptiles. And even so... Alan was one of them, was he not? It was the double-edged sword.
"You looked somewhat lonely." - he went on without spite in his voice - "I thought you might need a company. Even if you want a quiet one"

Her face turned into a bigger frown. Slowly and deadly, she pulled her hoodie over her head and stood up, shaking her head side to side, giving the double effect of making her hair look natural and looking good doing it. I need to stop hanging around Dizzy, her mind said. "Guess what?" Tam stood up slowly, putting her hands in the pockets of her faded shorts. "I don't do small talk. I don't do company. I don't need any of that stuff. Believe it or not, I'm stronger than needing small talk, or company, or pathetic things like that. Do I look lonely? Then turn around and walk away. I don't need any of that. I don't need people to talk to me about important things. I don't need any of that. So seriously, if you're just coming to piss me off, then please, turn around and go and read one of your little books or something. Because I don't have to deal with this shit from people when I've got my own stuff to deal with."

"Stonger than that? I think you're just socially inept. That you might start crying about your problems and look 'weak' if you let somebody close to you. I did not mean to put my problems upon you. But then again, I can't expecy you to understand. Socially challenged as you are, you probably only know how to fight. I will read my book nonetheless, no matter what you say or do, jusy so you know. Because that's what people do, unlike some savage specimen of so called species with their own mind" - .....and there they called ghouls savage, but he didn't add anything.
Nobody gets younger - that's the fact. Later, when Alan is older and certainly wiser, he might look back at this conversation with Tam and think that he has gone too far. That he was more irritated than should be and that he sounded like girl on PMS, which probably should've been more of her trait than his. But right now, Alan wasn't any older and wiser. He waa still 15 years old and he had turned one good morning into an arguement.
"And I will hold on to my opinion. You are socially invalid. So, sit the hell down, of nothing, then to see what normal people do" - he felt a sting somewhere, not quite knowing what it was for. Perhaps it was his conscince screaming 'CANNIBAL' at him. After all, there were more normal people around - Dizzy, Alastor, Cross, Tamara... Just to name a few.

"Crying?!" She almost screamed. "I'll never start crying!! I'm not like that!! I would never sink that low!" Her mind involuntary went to a time when she had cried in front of a member of the academy. All she remembered of it was a burning in her head and the tears that cooled her face. That person was kind to her, brought her ice and held her while she cried. Tam didn't like to think about it. "In case you haven't noticed, it is weak to let people in! You trust people, you get stabbed in the back! You're weak if you don't see it coming! And are you trying to imply something about me being 'some savage specimen of so called species with their own mind'?! Are you trying to imply that I'm insane?! Are you trying to say that I'm some sort of uncivilized person who can't do anything because their mind is to stupid and weak?! "And you're telling me to just 'sit the hell down'?! I'm not doing anything you tell me! Who do think you are, my mother?!" The words came out before Tam could think. She tried to argue more, but her throat became clogged and she couldn't speak anymore.

"That's exactly what I'm trying to prove here - crying is completely normal! You let your emotions out. Besides, nobody needs to know, if you share it with right person." - he sighed, almost giving up the argument, but something kept him wanting. That was probably why they did but him in Dieter - he was mostly quiet, but he was very stubborn and wouldn't back away until he got what he wanted or proved that he is absolutely right. And though he knew there was no fighting with woman, he kept going just for the sake of it. Maybe he would even be able to vent on her a bit.
"Barry White [something like-- lies? lol]! It's not weak to let people in." - Alan said with a grimace - "If you know how to choose them. I you choose some arses, of course they will stab you in the back. It's completely your own fault if you are lousy judge of character"
And maybe he was too. Maybe he was talking of things he didn't know or understood, because he didn't know Tam. But he hoped that she would at least try and see things his way.
"I'm not implying anything, I'm opening saying it." - he said and glanced elsewhere as she mentioned her mother. He didn't know what to say for that. It was a tricky theme for he didn't know who the mother was - and he was thought to never, ever, insult one's parents. In the end, he only quietly added, assuring that the rest of dorm doesn't hear their whole verbal fight. They were, after all, very loud and this was the basement.
"If I were your mother, you wouldn't have dared speak to me like that. But that mother must be very far away, because you have really neglected yourself and your behavior."

"That's why it's weak!! Normal is weak! If everyone does it, it's common and weak!! I will never cry in front of anyone again!! The last time I did, I couldn't stop beating myself up for a week!!" The memories rushed into her crowded head, working her up more. The tiny girl took a breath to try and calm herself, but it didn't work. She just felt the rage of emotions rush around her small but strong body, making her feel weak about not being able to control them. "Who's Barry White?!" Tam screamed. "He sounds like an idiot! If you let people in, you get hurt! Everyone I've let in has hurt me! Even the first person I trusted at this academy! They've all let me down! They've all gone and betrayed me! If you think that choosing one bad person makes you a bad judge of character, then I must be the worst judge of character in the world!" She could feel her throat go dry, a sign that tears were coming. She needed to get rid of them, and the only way to do that was to hit something - or someone. She was thinking of this as she looked him up and down. Sizing him up, looking at his weak spots and how she could knock him down. She was thinking that he would be easy because he was younger. But she always did that. She always thought of the person's weaknesses before strengths. It was a way of her mind trying to make her believe that she was strong before the voices took over. "How dare you say that!" her fiery little voice shouted. "I'm not insane!! I don't want to be insane!! I-I can't be insane!!" The small stammer made her grit her teeth before she continued. "My mother isn't far away!! She died last year!! Don't you dare talk about her like that!! I would never talk to her like that!! I wouldn't even glare at my mother!! Who could do something like treat her like an enemy?! Did you grow up under a rock?!" The Spanish fairy was upset, it was there in her eyes and body language. Her tiny fists were screwed up. Her face was twisted in an angry frown. Her powerful shoulders were tensed. Her big eyes, now small in anger, burned with a reddy-brown fire which could easily go through someone's soul if they looked too hard. Tam didn't realise it, but she could have the effect on people when she was angry or happy. Her eyes would blaze with the fire the colour of her eyes. When she was in a good mood, it made people feel warm. But when she was upset like this, it made herself seem more dangerous than before.
