A voice at the church (irene/aine)

Irene looked around to make sure no one was around and to make sure she wasnt followed by anyone as she walked up to the church. Once she knew it was all clear she sliped through the doors of the church.

As she walked down the aisle of the giant room, she couldnt help but be amazed at how it all looked. As she made her way to the end of the asile, where she was standing at the base of stage like area where a preachure would stand. Irene gazed up at the the large stained glass behind the podeum, she found it all so pretty.

Irene gave one last glance around to make sure no one was around to make sure no one was there. Once she was sure a small smile grew on her face as she took a deep breath and began to sing. She Stood there and sang "Panis Angelicus", one of her favorite songs. As she sang irene could hear the acoosticks of the church and loved it. She loved singing so much and had missed singing just to sing and nothing else. But in the back of her mind she still hoped no one was around to hear her because if they heard her voice she isnt sure what might happen to them. She did not want to hurt anyone that is why she braved the walk past the grave yard just to reach the church.

Aw wasn't really sure of how he ended up on the academy's church. Actually, he had no idea at all: what on earth was he doing there? It was quite early, as he was half-asleep and not caffeinated enough. The banshee remembered being in his room, enjoying the bed with his bestfriend's warmth, and then his son...

Ugh. So that's why he's here. Because one of his daughters decided to bite the other and Aw was going to the infirmary to get something for her and, of course, he got lost. He sighed. You know, he should just go back.. sleep a little more.. It was so earl--

Aw heard something, and it was coming from the church. From inside the church, not outside like he was. The sound was... Someone singing? Wow, it was beautiful! Aw blinked. He never knew anyone in this academy besides himself that likes singing. He tried to open the door without making a sound and slipped inside, so he could hear better. Her voice was really amazing... Aw wished she'd just keep singing.

Irene sang all the way through the song with a smile on her face. Once she had finished the song opened her eyes slowly and became very excited, bouncing a bit. She then proseeded to twirl on one foot. As she was in mid twirl her eyes landed on Aw. When she saw him in her mid twirl Irene then gasped and lost her balance and stumbled backwards and fell down in front of the benches.

"oh gooness he...he heard me singing. oh no i hope he is ok. where did he come from? who is he? How long has he been there?! what do i do? He heard me sing!" she thought to herself, panicing in her head as she laid there on the floor kicking herself. She was sure she was alone she even double check.

She laid there with her face in her hands shaking her head trying to figure out what she was going to do. She swore to herself she would never let anyone hear her voice again. She couldnt control her powers and did not want to hurt people any more.

The girl suddenly gasped and Aw felt terrible: maybe she didn't like having other people hear her? Well, that'd explain why she was here, in this empty church. But her voice was so beautiful, Aw even wanted to duet with her. Maybe he could talk to--

And then she fell backwards and, what the hell, she started panicking? Aw ran to help her, but she was just... On the floor, head down. Did something happen that the banshee isn't notice?

Aw stood quite awkwardly next to her, not daring to put his hand on her shoulder. "Are you alright?", he asked.
