"Everyone breaks.." she quietly whispered. "..just not everyone is that good at hiding it...."
Pitter patters changed to a low rumble as the rain swiftly fell heavy and almost echoed through the halls. Lillium wandered aimlessly throughout the school. Aside from the sound of the pounding rain on the roof, the halls were uneasily quiet. Her knee high army style boots slammed on the ground as she skipped, the girl's pink hair bounced in the two pigtails she tied it in. The eerie wet season had brought her down. Without the sunshine she seemed to be uneasy and upset. Her eyes fixated on the ground as she walked afraid that if she looked up she might make eye contact with someone, thankfully though not many people were seen in the halls today. Thoughts rushed through her head family, friends, school work, everything lately seemed to feel heavy on her shoulders. The small teen lived her life to make people happy and influence people with her smiling face and sweet giggles. A heavy heart and a lump in her throat, she felt as if she could cry. "Damn weather." She quietly cursed the weather, as a couple tears fell down her cheek. The young girl fastened her speed as she quickly jog down the hall. Lillium froze when she came to a window. A flash of lightning brightened the hall. The small bit of light she's been yearning for. Silently tiptoeing to the window as if she was afraid to interrupt the storm, she lifted and placed the back of her hand to it. "So cold." She whispered, with curiosity she began to watch the little drops on the window race down to the bottom. Standing there quietly tracing the rain droplets racing down the window. As almost every drop she traced she had an equal tear down her face. Soon she was lost in the sight of the rain. Leaning herself against the wall and staring into the rain outside was almost mesmerizing. It felt like hours past as she stood and watched, the occasional lightning strike disrupting her train of thought but soon she was calm. She continued to hum softly to herself forgetting everything around while letting her thoughts wander around those things the disrupted her happy, the monsters the only struck while she was down. A sudden flash of lightning and loud crash of thunder would normally startle the pinkette, this time she was different. Almost in a trance the pitter patter of the rain had mesmerized her. The girl smirked and began quietly singing to herself "Alone in this fight with herself and the fears whispering.. if she stands, she'll fall down.. She wants to be found.. The only way out is through everything she's running from.. wants to give up and lie down.." Lilli looked down as her grip on the window sill tightened, as she faded out in the lyric of the song the tears started to fall...
