GUESS WHO IS BACK ON FORUM
AWNY IS BACK ON FORUM
Unrelated, med means 'honey' and it's a cool word even though it's not a pet name here rolf
They had not gone out on dates. Actually, perhaps they did, on vacation, once, because Áine lived to far away. It was not even that far away, but Antonia did not want to drive him around, and his Ma doesn't drive. Even if she did, Tony is sure he'd never get inside that car. He adored his life to bits, despite how hectic it was. And he adored himself with all the right bits, as well.
But the points is, they spend a whole lot of time together and so far they've been out in the city, maybe once. Tony doesn't even remember when he went out with friends (and in embarrassment, he has to admit it was probably a year or so ago, when Piper shamed him into it), let alone Aw. And he's really looking forward to it.
It doesn't go to say that he't not a nervous wreck, because he is. He is not sure if Nate can handle Octavia alone and there are three more kids other than her; he is not sure if Renee and Bea had anything planned, and perhaps they didn't need the kids. Tony was both happy and terrified to suggest sending them anyway, but his Ma kept appearing back. And well, he did not turn out so bad, if you exclude the incredible fear he felt, at times, when he'd face off his actual, biological mother, and her brother. It was hard to tell which was more distressing, agreeing with Antonia, or disagreeing with her, and Tony was still working on that relationship of his.
Besides, what if he gets lost in Alegra? What if Áine does, or they both do, together? What happens then? Alegra is a big city, with plenty of opportunity to disappear in the crowd. At least nobody will kill him, right? Who knows. It could be worse. It could be getting lost in Academy.
For now, though, he is merely sitting at the bench, waiting for Áine because he had things - children related things, and that was not pretty - to discuss with Nate, and they agreed Tony would go and get them tickets, if he already had time, like he did. It was not that bad of a decision, but he was terribly bored.

Áine flopped down on the bench next to Tony, sighed, and took his boyfriend's face in both his hands.
"Tom. Love of my life. Stars of my sky. We have lovely children. Let's send them away to my mother."
Now, wait a moment.
Aw really does love their kids. They are beautiful, and when he looks at Tia and sees his locks and Tony's eyes, his chest feels warm and tight, and he loves her even though she is the devil. Literally, the devil. And Scanlon, whose hair is red just like Tony's. And their twins, their lovely twins, so young still, who have his own blue eyes. He loves them even though he can't remember the last time he's had a good night of sleep. And Benny' who ia the sweetest child that has ever come to this world, and Hana, his darling Ahana, who seems to think Tia is the spawn of the devil, which she is, but that's no reason to put worms in her food.
He's young and at school and living with his boyfriend and he would like to be able to go on a date with him without worring that Scanlon was going to eat Nate alive.
Aw loops his arms around Tony's neck and hides his face there.
"This is supposed to be our day but I can't stop worrying about them. We can't even go out to Alegra without needing a full scale operation to see who's going to be taking care of whom and Máthair is going to move here anyway.", he sighs.
And he knows Tony is tired. Tired like he is.
And he doesn't like it when he shakes Tony to wake him and the red-head doesn't wake up. Doesn't like it at all, not after what happened. Aw still has nightmares.
He kisses Tony's neck because it's there and because this is supposed to be a date, and also because he likes kissing Tony. And he hasn't been doing it much lately. Which is a travesty.
He tells Tony that.

"Alright," he surprised at how quickly he agrees to it - a little bit too quickly, so, just to make sure, he says it one more time, "Alright."
He had meant to suggest it, but he did not want-- he did not want to be a burden, and Tony is sure he would've been, had he asked. He still has not forgotten that Amanda has yet to meet his parents, and it's not something he is looking forward to. Oh boy, Antonia meeting somebody. Perhaps his Ma would be able to groom her to act like an actual, civilised being, civilised human being and not growl at people and look their at their organs, and put price on their health. The woman is creepy as hell.
It's no wonder where Tia takes after, but Tony bites his tongue and decides to ignore it.
"If that's alright with her. You mother. I mean-- You know what I mean." And he is sure, he is more than certain that Áine does. They understand each other like this. Tony always likes to think that they're best friends first, and lovers second, and they work so perfectly in this sync they created.
But he is tired. He is tired and he just wants-- he wants not to think about kids, for once.
So, instead, he laughs when Áine mentions travesty, still a bit unsure about the whole kissing deal, let alone kissing in public deal, even though he's kissed Aw more times than he can count, and even though he liked it in a amounts not measurable by any numbers he can think of. He could never get tired of Áine, get enough of him. So, in one movement that is way too bold for Tony Love - he leans slightly and pecks Áine on the lips. His face is burning, but he still smiles afterwards, nonetheless.
"Where should we go today, then?" They'll all be fine goes unsaid. Nate will probably be traumatised for life, and for others he is not sure - but he can hope for the best. It makes him sleep easier at night.

Aw chuckles at how fast Tony answers - and then sighs, relieved that that was settled, finally.
"I know what you mean.", Aw tells his boyfriend, and he does. "She will be happy to take them in, I'm sure. And... Um. Grandmother. Won't come. Move in. So.", Aw shrugs. He hasn't told Tony /everything/ about his grandma, but he knows enough. She isn't a bad person, you see - she just. She's just /really/ strict when it comes to family and Áine is a freak when it comes to genetics. Oh well.
That bridge burned down long ago. Let the woman be.
Tony pecks him on the lips and Aw blushes, even though he was the one who kissed Tony first. And his boyfriend is all smiling and blushing and Aw pecks him back once, only once, and blushes too.
Yes. This is supposed to be their date. Tony now, worry about where they'll have to burry Nate later.
"I don't know, we really should go out more, Tom. I've never come to Alegra.", he mentions, taking one arm away from Tony's neck and pointing at their right. "But I saw a little cafe or something over there and.. Well, to be honest I didn't really eat breakfeast.", he tells Tony. He should have, but he'd needed to go and talk to Nate, and when he looked at the clock it was time to go.
"But we can go somewhere else? If you want." Aw was going to try and do this the right way. It's a date after all!

"That's uhh---" How does one say good without actually saying it? That could be-- mildly offensive, at the very least. "Good." Wow, his Demir is showing. And the Love, as well, which is more surprising. The woman is starting to rub off on him; it is such an alien concept though, to think- to think that she's his mother, "That's not actually bad, you know. She can still uhh-- visit. Like mother does."
Tony's learnt that his mother comes to Game World only so that she could have the reason to leave it. They did not meet eye-to-eye, and she was better off in human world. She was more dangerous, but she was not near him, so that was fine.
"Just we make sure-- that they don't visit together." He adds a small smile too, even though the anxiety bubbles up inside of him. That would be a disaster, moreso than Tia strangling Nate in his sleep, which is bad as bad as it sounds, actually.
When Áine pecks him, he is burning crimson - not as dark as his cherry-red hair, but dark enough for it to be visible. Already used to the heat in his cheeks, he only huffs out a bit, and then smiles. It is chilly - still not warm enough for the ever-present snow to melt, but not cold enough for them to be caved inside. It is nice to be out, even in such early hours. The cold is going to cool him down, or so he hopes, but he's still lit up like Rudolf's nose.
"Really?" He asks then, as if though surprised, "You've never been to Alegra?" Tony's earliest memories were binded to Alegra; that little of what memories he had. Rashida called him a peculiar child, but Rashida was a peculiar woman herself. He was always sort of enough to himself - the two of them could live, probably, with each, just like he lives with Áine, and he probably wouldn't need another person. He understood his mother - his Ma - and she understood him (just exactly how, was beyond him).
"I can show you around. I've not been everywhere--" it's big but it's not that big, "But I know most stuff." And then he promptly shuts up, his mouth forming a worried 'Oh' at banshee's comment.
And then he realises, he has not eaten either, and that being a parent sucks. He feels like he's giving up way too much, or it may be just the whole burden weighting down on him (or the just-acquired freedom, could be).
"We'll go there, then. I'd like to see if that's any good." Normally, he would have be dragged along, probably by Alastor (or God-forbid, Piper). It would probably be less intimidating now. It surely will be, for Aw will be there as well.

Aw closes his eyes at the horrifying image. "If they visit together, Game World would explode."
Yes. It is a ceirtanty.
"No.", Aw answers Tony. "I.. I actually never really left the academy's grounds? Except for when I met you, that is. Remember? We were in a beach.", he says, smiling. He remembers being dragged to that beach on god knows where by god knows whom, and how he and Tony stayed with each other. When roommates were assigned, they were already friends, and sticked together.
Jesus, that was a long time ago, Aw thinks.
"It's ok,", Aw says, brushing it off. "I don't usually eat much at breakfeast anyway", he shrugs.
"But yeah,", he smiles, getting up and sliding his left arm from the shapeshifter's neck to hold his hand. "Lets go. We can eat, then you can show me around. I'm sure there's lots of stuff to do, now that it's not as cold as always.", Aw comments, opening the door to the little cafe.
He eyes the pastries on display and feels like eating everything.

"In the best case," in worst case, it wouldn't.
In worst case, his mother would decide that it was a perfectly justified to get to know Deirdre Bancor, and that it was perfectly justified to keep in contact with the woman. The greenish-blue eyes of his mother haunted Tony, sometimes, and he is pretty sure that Deirdre's grey ones are just as bad.
Granted, he has never met her, but if you have the reason to talk bad about your family, it's normally justified. He believed Aw.
"You haven'?" And he remembers when they first met, too, and smiles despite himself, "I've been here a lot. And outside the Game World, although not to many places." Just to one, and Antonia promised to take him to France too.
He wasn't sure if that was bad, or good, but he didn't know French at all and well - that was Antonia. He was inclined to think bad. Doomed before the start, he thinks, but maybe-- maybe if it turns out good, he'll take Áine with him sometimes too. The woman is quiet, bearable, as long as she's not angered to the angry spluttering, Tony realised. And, he realised too, she tolerates him. More or less.
God, he's turning into a gossip, and his own mother is on the front cover.
"Alegra is pretty cheery. It's quite big, too. The biggest city in the South of Game World," only Kegan is bigger, but Tony doesn't care for Kegan, "I can show you around after we have something to eat." He smiles, pretty satisfied with himself, and then follows Áine into the little cafe.
"We could take some things on return, too," he suggests, "For Nate. He'll probably need lots of sugar, too."

"I was born outside the Game World, so.", Aw comments, shrugging. "In Ireland. Haven't been many places cause Deirdre doesn't like leaving the grounds."
Also cause even when the family did leave the grounds, his grandmother didn't usually include Aw. But that is too much for now and the banshee wants to enjoy this date.
"Yes," Aw says, smiling. "After the food!"
He walks to one table for two near the window and pushes Tony's chair for him like a real gentleman, because Aw was raised in a fine house that taught him all sorts of useless stuff like pushing chairs and opening doors for others. Also because it's cute and he wanted to do it.
"Yeah, we probably should. But can he even eat that, being a vampire?", the boy asks, sitting in his own chair. "We should take some for Samuel too, or he'll be moaning about it for the next ten years. What do you want?", Aw asks turning around in his chair without getting up to eye the food on display. "Hmm.", he hums. "I have no idea what any of those are, Tom. Isn't being out amazing?", he laughs, turning to Tony again.
