The sun was just about to disappear behind the whide horizon when Delilah arrived at the catacombs. She hated sunlight and rarely went out in the daytime. Well, probably not very unusual for a shadow demon after all. Without creating any noise which would tell others that she was there, the girl looked around, checking if somebody was there. She liked being alone at this place and practicing her powers, which were already quite good. With a smile on her face, she ended up thinkink to be alone...
Delilah took a deep breath and rather than letting warm air out of her lungs, a black mist left her lips and grew bigger and bigger. That was the process of creating a shadow. The demon concentrated and tried to focus on the dark fog surrounding her, forming all kinds of shapes and figures, like a flying bird, a fire spitting dragon or even a sharp knife. That was only the basic practice she liked to kill some time with. The more difficult spells were too complex as to experiment with them at such a place. She would need a place with a protection charm or something like that, but Delilah was a new teacher so she had enough time as to create that kind of room she needed for her experiments. Hm, now that she thought about it...being a real teacher was a whole new thing for her...she just couldn't imagine students who looked about as young as her calling her 'Miss Jones'. It sounded too...unfamiliar for her ears and she had to chuckle about it. Who knows, maybe teaching some brats everything about basic magic would turn out to be fun...?
