Faith Flynn.
You could ask as many people as you want. You could ask anyone who knew him. The chances were that 90% of the people you asked will tell you that Faith Flynn is the perfect example of pure immaturity. And yet he was here, at Kegan, dressed in the gray uniform and a matching hat, with badges indicating that he was in military service. With a card that clearly said 'Officer Ravensdale' removed from his chest, the effeminate male passed the almost-empty streets of big city.
There was never Sun in Kegan. He didn't know why. His friend told him, when he was still human, that her fathers clan of vampires lived in Kegan for who knows how long. How many vampires has he met before? A lot. They weren't favourite in this city. But he knew his friend never had any problems, and not only because she was vampire only partially. They were feared. Blue eyes flickered restlessly over the sky. Was there any difference between the sky hiding behind dense clouds and the eyes currently observing the same. Maybe there wasn't, maybe there was. It was impossible to tell the color of the sky right now. Faith assumed it was early evening.
He sighed and made yet another circle around the street. Only then he noticed something was off - he had a shadow. Dead people don't have shadows. But this one did not show male in his mid-twenties with elbow-long hair. It showed a crouched creature that was anything by human. Faith slumped against the closest wall and went into the fit of laughter. He felt terrible for some reason. He had a bad feeling about next day.
As the light above him cast his new-discovered shadow, Faith's hysterics were followed by his shadow. Only smiling back at the freckled male was a hyena. He shook his head once again, throwing a hat in front of himself and sorting out his long bangs as his hair was collected by a huge hair clip. He needed to think his behavior over.
