"Be good, ok?" The woman in front of him said. She was a fairly short redhead, and her hair was cut short into a bob. Her brown eyes were fixed firmly on her son. "Don't fight with your sister anymore, got it?" He mumbled a reply and Diza Cross smiled, kissing his blue hair, pausing for a moment as it reminded her of her husband. "Just be good, and we'll see you soon." She pulled his hat on then walked off merrily. "Have fun, mi pollito![my little chick]" Amidio huffed, trying to look cool and pulled his hat over his face. Mama always embarrassed him, putting his hat on, calling him Spanish names, kissing his head . . . He was tired of it. At least here he could grow up, be a man, make some friends. Maybe he could even get a girlfriend . . . If Cenobis kept out of it! He grunted and walked into the academy, looking for directions to Tien and hoping not to run into the demon he called a twin sister. Anyone else, his cousin Brianna, his cousins from the other side, Gus, Romulus, Remus, Brutus, anyone he could use for a friend. He walked into the café and decided to get an ice cream. A yellow one. Or maybe yellow and red. The hellhound remember the way Mama had dyed the end of her hair blond, to look the same but different as her twin, Tía [Aunt] Tam. It had looked pretty, so the boy ordered an ice cream to match. Sitting down at an empty table, he looked around for someone to talk to.

The young girl walked down the halls, her red hair short in the back and long in the front. Her Aunt Cross assured her that the A-line cut was sure to make her stand out, although she didn't need her hair fancy for her to stand out. Cenobia, like her father, was charming and sweet to everybody, very friendly to others which made people want to be around her. Although, the young fairy didn't care about that many people except for her family, mainly her brother. Her brother was her world, she believed him to be her only real friend. Yes, they fought all the time but siblings often do that. But no matter what, the two always stuck by each other.
The fairy yawned, a skip in her step as she walked, a duffle bag behind her in her hands. She grinned when she walked into the cafe and saw her brother with an ice-cream. Cenobia, like her Aunt Cross and father, was always one to joke around as well and pranks were one of her favorite things. Mostly, they revolved in embarrassing Amidio. This day, the first day of school, she thought she'd give her brother a break, deciding not to do anything to him...yet.
Cenobia wasn't like other girls her age. She didn't care about who's the most popular, who kissed who, or gossip. Although, like most girls, her appearance was everything in public and fashion was a major part in her life, aside from family. The young fairy walked closer to Amidio with a sweet smile, ignoring the fact that her knees were scrapped up and bleeding from falling a few minutes before she came inside.
She appeared tough to most people, never showing weakness or pain to others, just like her father. She was, after all, a "Daddy's girl.'' Yet, with her brother, Cenobia was clearly like a little girl. She was eager to please, always smiling and giggling, not having a care in the world, and always had fun with her older brother. But hidden beneath all her smiles and giggles, she knew that the only people she would ever want to be around were related to her, which made her scared to lose them. She'd die without her brother or parents, at least...that's how she saw it. Nobody mattered to her except Amidio. The girl knew that she could be annoying, playfully violent, too loud, too physically rough, and too dumb (as her brother called her). But she loved her brother very much and knew that without him, her life would mean nothing. She couldn't bear to lose him and that is why she was always in his business, always around him. Cenobia just wanted to make sure he was safe, he was her only brother after all.
Cenobia grinned as she dropped her bag on the floor and hugged him tightly from behind. "Heard you got placed in Tien~ Same here." She whispered into his ear happily. She bit his shoulder gently, for the hell of it, and released him from her death grip. "I missed you Amidio~!" She said sweetly, smiling lovingly at her brother.

Amidio jumped when he saw his sister that close to him. He was so startled, he pushed his ice cream into her face. "H-hey!" He cried. "What was that for?! You have to go and get me another one now!" His lips formed a pout as he refused to hug her back. Instead, he pushed her away and stood up. "What're you doing here, anyway?" He demanded. "Aren't you meant to be making friends or something? Because in case you haven't noticed, I'm trying to make friends too." He looked around the café, realising it was nearly deserted. So much for making friends. Oh well, he could always make out he had already made friends. "Wait, you're in Tien?" His face scowled. "Why are you in defense?! I thought you'd be in attack! All the attacking you do to me . . ." He grumbled the last part, talking about her biting him. Since when do fairies bite? Wasn't he meant to be the more fierce one? But he wasn't fierce at all - in fact, he was more like a fairy than she was. He liked to smile, avoid fights, and generally had a calm nature. But, like his Mama, he tended to drop all that when it came to his twin and fight until he kicked her ass. Which wasn't very often. It seemed like everything just came easy to her with things like that, and he had to work for everything. Maybe he was a little jealous of her, but the hellhound would never admit it.

Cenobia growled when he shoved the ice-cream in her face, frowning at him as he did it. "I'm not getting you another one, you little pup!" She said, wiping it off her face and onto a napkin. The young girl licked her red ruby lips that matched her hair. "Although that is pretty good ice-cream~"
"F-Friends?" Cenobia said, shifting her weight from one foot to the other anxiously. "You're....my only friend. Well...the only one I want to be around, that is." A sweet smile appeared on her face as she looked at the ground. She really did care and love for her brother.
The young girl grinned and played with a strand of her hair. "Daddy said I should be in Tien~ He was in Tien! Besides, i'm already a good attacker! I should learn to defend...after all...I want to protect you..." She admitted, blushing as she said, embarrassed. Cenobia looked up at her older brother and walked closer to him. Her fingers brushed against his before she took hold of his hand, holding it. She smiled sweetly and did the same with his other hand, eventually swinging their hands back and forth, almost child-like.
The deserted cafe was filled with light coming in from the windows, the light on his sister. She looked cute, as always, but she knew nobody, especially her brother, would care if she was cute or not. Cenobia accepted the fact that no matter how many people surrounded her, she'd always feel alone unless her brother was with her. That's just how things worked in her mind. It was jumbled with everything that always happened and as much as she tried to calm down and think about one thing at a time, she always failed.
Cenobia, the young gorgeous fairy she was, was undoubtedly strong. She inherited her father's strength, stamina, and urge to win. Although, because she was a girl and a fairy none-the-less, most people underestimated her. But because they did, she worked her hardest to prove them wrong. The fact was, no matter what, Cenobia was undoubtedly stronger than her older brother. And because of this, she vowed to protect him always. In all honesty, as well, she was a bit jealous of her brother. He held the essence of pureness, of innocence.
He was like an angel...

"You have to get me another one!" He whined. "It's your fault I made it go over your stupid face!" He glared at her when she mentioned how it was good, and thought; If only I could shoot lasers from my eyes . . . He didn't hate his sister. No, of course not. He just . . . disliked her, at times. She annoyed him. He probably annoyed her. And thus, the circle goes around. It was how things were. How they'd been for as long as he could remember. He didn't see any reason to change it, as they had their nice moments in between too. He liked those. The sign of her smile made his glare fade away. He liked her smile. It reminded him of his Mama, who he adored as much as his Daddy or twin. "Stop being so soft," he replied, poking her stomach lightly. "Mama says we have to make friends, whether we like it or not, or else we could go insane like Tía Tam." He giggled and tapped her forehead. "Voices coming for you, mi harmana~" Mama had told him off several times for joking after Tam's 'condition'. Of course, she was better now, the voices gone long before the two were born. Tam was even friendly to most people now, as long as she knew them and they didn't piss her off. Of course, she was nice to him and Cenobia, and he liked how her Spanish accent made their names sound funny. It was different to Mama's, a little lower and not as bouncy, and that made her fun to be around! "I don't need to be defended," the boy pouted once again. "Mama's going to teach me some potions to help me and stuff, since I don't have much magic in me." It was true, another thing the boy envied about his sister was that she could do magic far better than him. He was weak at it, barely being able to do simple levitation without a wand. "Besides, just because Mama and Daddy were in Tien doesn't mean you have to be. You are your own person, therefore you should do what you want." He finished with a satisfied nod. As the girl in front of him swung their hands, he looked around to make sure no one could see. He didn't want people thinking he wasn't tough. Which he wasn't, but these people didn't know that. He could be whoever he wanted to be here. He could be a big, confidant stud if he wanted to. And if he had the flirtiness to back it up. As he saw the light flood his sister, he tilted his head and thought about how she was cute, really. She could make friends easily, if she wanted. So why did she stick with him? She could probably be surrounded by a bunch of guys and friends, just like Tía Cross. But instead she was with him. "Why?" He wondered aloud. She was indeed a lovely girl at heart. She was the opposite to him, as light and dark, day and night, earth and sky, boy and girl, Mama and Tía Tam . . . but she was still lovely, all the same. But when she wanted to, she could be worse than Hades, that was for sure! Sometimes he wondered if she had anything of Mama's, except her hair colour. She even had Daddy's eye colour and personality. So was she like Mama in any way? Or was she just a gender-bent Daddy? He couldn't tell sometimes.

"Well my stupid face still doesn't like being covered in ice-cream!" She said, licking her lips again. The girl always had a habit of doing that, licking her lips. Of course, that was one feature Cenobia was actually proud about. Her lips weren't too thin and weren't too big, they were the perfect size and luscious. Her lips were always, unless she was alone or lazy, covered in ruby red lipstick to match her hair and she could pull it off effortlessly. Let alone with her smokey eyes, she looked exotic almost. She was mysterious to most people, never letting too much about herself escape her lips except to her family. She was a secretive fairy with a sadistic side and she loved to smoke.
Red ruby covered cigarettes scattered around in her pencil case in her purse. The fairy also had a habit of burning things with them, which explained the small circular burn marks on her duffle bag even though she blamed it on other things. Although she smoked, she tried to hide it from her family the best she could. After all, the fairy was supposed to be the good one. She was supposed to be the sweet, cute, little girl that everybody adored. Not a smoking sadist. She had many secrets...
Cenobia pouted when he mentioned Aunt Tam's voices. "Mama wouldn't like you talking about Tia Tam in such a way, you know~" Cenobia laughed, studying his facial features. He was feminine a bit but mostly, quite handsome. If they weren't related, he would definitely be of interest of her. But alas, he was her brother, and incest grossed the fairy out. Their hands continued to swing, the girl laughing. "You do too need protecting Ami~ Regardless of who you try to be here, you'll always be my puppy and I wanna protect my puppy, regardless of his consent or not!"
Dropping her bag on the floor, she smirked when it stopped inches from hitting the floor. It floated on over to the table and sat itself down. Unlike her brother, she didn't need a wand to do most spells. It was a gift. She didn't know how she was able to do it or why...but the girl assumed it was because her words held power. She held power. She WAS power. A wand never concerned her. From a very young age, she was gifted with abilities that would take years to know...although because of her naiiveness in the magical world, the young girl couldn't control her powers very well. This caused her to either blow something, or somebody, up or possibly ruin everything in her path. It did come in handy though, if she wanted to blow up her brother.
"I want to be in Tien so I can learn to defend, brother! Pretty simple! Mama and Daddy can teach me attacking! So can Aunt Cross!" Cenobia flashed her famous sweet smile. The fairy was used to getting anything with this smile. It was charming and beautiful, just like her. That was one thing she got from her mother, or so her father had said. Beauty. Collin always told his daughter how beautiful she looked, just like her beautiful mother. Cenobia swung their hands more before moving them around on her body, making one of his hands go on her hip, the other in her hand. She danced with him, giggling happily. This was one of the moments that Cenobia loved most. She loved having fun with her brother, she loved being innocent and cute with him as well...

"I don't care if it likes being in ice cream or not!" He scowled at his sister. "You have to get me another because you made me drop it onto you. I'll tell Mama! She won't be happy with you!" His favourite excuse was his 'Mama'. Amidio loved his mother very much, and was a mummy's boy. If it wasn't obvious. He had always gone running to Dizzy, ever since he was a little boy. And no one could blame him - Collin had once locked them in a basement for 'time out'. "But I love Tía Tam!" He smiled and laughed. "She's so fun! She's just really fun to be around, isn't she?" Well, if treating you like a child half the time, giving you knife throwing lessons the other half and making you drink hot chocolate all the time was fun. He liked it. He liked Tía Tam's knife throwing lessons. She had her own place to do it out the back, her own targets and everything. She had fine knives to do the throwing as well, but she wouldn't let the twins near those. She said how they were too good to waste on lessons, they were for the real thing. Amidio hadn't understood what she had meant when he was younger, before he was allowed to practice throwing. His handsome face scowled more at her. Was she reading his mind? He had heard stories about how Mama and Tía Tam were able to read each other's minds because they were twins, but he hadn't seen much of it before with his twin. Was it only coming in now because he was a hell hound? Because their link wasn't as strong as pure fairies'? "I don't need a little girl protecting me! I can be whoever I want to be here! "And why can't you learn defense from Mama and Daddy?!" He demanded. "Tía Cross is in the Underworld! She can't do anything for you at the moment! Besides, you're more attack anyway." He finished with a small pout replacing the scowl. Why, oh why did she have to be with him? Why couldn't she be with someone else? In some other dorm? In some other school? He loved Cenobia, but he knew she would torment him in some way. Why couldn't she be a normal girl, like Mama? Why couldn't she like make up, and have lots of friends, and go off with a boyfriend, but still make time for her twin? The hell hound didn't want to see her all the time, but maybe she could just see him at meals?

"It's an ice-cream Amidio, Mama won't care. Just go get it yourself, after all, i'm broke!" Cenobia complained to him with a pout, knowing she spent her last $100 on shopping. Mostly for clothes, special herbs and spices and anything needed to brew potions, and whatever else she deemed fine for her at the time. The young girl remembered a neighborhood girl calling her a witch instead of a fairy. After all, weren't fairies supposed to be cute, nice, help others, and do spells for good? If so, Cenobia wasn't like that at all. She was sadistic, exotic and sexy, only helped herself and family, and brewed things that the devil would be proud of. She prided herself in her abilities over potions and spells. 'Fairies are supposed to help nature, people, the earth.' She remembered somebody telling her when she was younger...But Cenobia went exactly opposite of that. She was considered a bad apple by some and a goddess by the rest.
"Aunt Tam is fun but you shouldn't joke about those voices..." Cenobia played with a strand of hair as she talked, having released their hands a while back. The girl looked at the floor as she spoke, too guilty to look him in the eyes. ''You don't think he won't find out, will he?" A small voice spoke in her head, the girl cringing as it talked. It taunted her, made her feel weak. It always criticized her and made sure to bring her down whenever she was happy. Although, she'd never let Amidio know about that...about Tzila, the god awful voice of a young male in her head. She didn't know what he wanted or why he was there, but he was...and he didn't go away.
Cenobia looked up at him with her eyes, smirking. "Yeah I can read your mind, you dip wad." She laughed and kissed his cheek as she danced around him. "I could read it ever since we were really little, duh. I just didn't tell you till now, I expected you could do the same...Which made silence much more bearable between us. An unspoken bond I thought we shared but I guess...you don't connect with me the way I connect with you...So I guess all my unspoken words were never heard.." Cenobia looked away from him, out the window. The light started to fade as gray clouds floated in front of the sun, threatening to turn the weather into a gloomy one.
The young girl ignored his babble about the dorms, finding it useless to fight with him. She honestly didn't even know why he even bothered, she was stubborn as hell and once her mind was made up...it was made up for good. She was staying in Tien and that was final the moment she decided it. The fairy walked up to the window and pressed her hand against the glass, staring outside as the voice inside her head babbled on and on until it finally shut up as she read Amidio's mind...
"If you don't want me around Amidio, that's fine...." Cenobia felt hurt as she levitated her duffle bag off the table as she walked by it. She stormed out of the cafe without looking back, only a few words escaping her lips as she passed him.
"Don't bother following me, brother." She hissed out the last word, exiting the cafe.

His little face screwed up as he tried to think of something that would make her buy him an ice cream. "W-well," Amidio stammered. "I'll tell Papa! Tía Tam! Tía Cross! Someone will make you buy me one!" Obviously, his threats weren't as threatening as they should have been for a teenage boy. "Why shouldn't I joke about the voices? They don't bother her nowadays," Those brown eyes turned confused as he thought about it. He didn't know that the voices were actually still with Tam, and probably wouldn't go away. She had her 'moments' with them, but fortunately for her they didn't come often and usually happened when she was alone. But as the boy heard his sister say she could read his mind, his heart sank. She had inherited the gift he wanted. Now she could read his mind, but he couldn't read hers. Although, the blue haired teen could have sworn that sometimes he could sense what was going on in her mind; it wasn't the same, but it would do, he supposed. When she walked past him, he was too stunned to speak. She was just leaving? "C-Cenobia," Amidio stuttered before walking after her. "Where are you going? I-I didn't say I didn't want you around . . ."

"You thought it though." She replied, walking faster. The girl hissed at him when he kept following her, scowling at the air. Cenobia kept levitating her bag as she walked. Whispered spells exited her red lips almost silently, the hushed words lingering in the air. Tzila groaned in her head and spoke gently, "He is still following you, ya know? Why don't you just...stab him. Maybe then he wouldn't be such a pest." He suggested, only to receive a hiss, cuss-filled, thought aimed towards him.
"You shouldn't joke about the voices is because...Nevermind." Cenobia kept walking silently throughout the halls, heading towards the Tien dorms. Her father assured her earlier that those in Tien where nice people, those who wished to defend others. "Make well with those in Tien, they'll save your life someday." His words repeated in her head, remembering how he kissed her head and told her the story of why he joined Tien in the first place, unlike his sister.
The young fairy looked behind at Amidio. "If you don't want to get stabbed, I suggest you scurry along brother. It's not safe right now." She warned him, Tzila's demand for blood getting more urgent. He wanted to make her be number one, since he, in his time, couldn't.

"Cenobia!" The poor boy tried to make his voice sound sharp and stern, but his sister's name came out like a tearful plea. "I didn't meant it like that! Don't be annoyed!" His walking turned to a run quickly. Amidio was confused. He hadn't meant it in a bad way, just in a sibling way . . . How could he explain that? It was harmless, it would be out of his head by the end of the day, forgotten by the time they both laid their heads on their soft pillows. The teenager tried in vain to think of the words to explain it. Alas, he had inherited his mother's brain; he was about as bright as an energy saving bulb, and as good with sharing thoughts as a spoon with sewing a pillow. But it shouldn't be this hard, right? She was his sister, his twin, his best friend, the one who was always going to be there to pick him up when he fell. "What's so bad about talking about the voices?" His little voice whispered, half in fear of what she could say. Did she have any experience with them? He felt his stomach do a flip flop as the thought entered his head. No, his brain told the rest of himself. Don't assume the worst. It's probably nothing. "I'm not leaving . . ." The hellhound said slowly. "I'm going to stay with you until I explain to you what was going on inside my head when I thought of that. Ah, why is this so hard?"

She whipped her body around and stared him down, her eyes never flickering from his face. "Cause I have them too Amidio." Cenobia whispered, blowing a strand of hair out of her face. Her angry exterior slowly dropped and she returned back to normal, the only sound between them was their breath and the smack of her duffle bag hitting the ground. Tightened fists dropped to calm loose fingers, her head slowly looking down. Avoid his gaze, don't let him see you this weak... Cenobia thought to herself, blinking away the threat of tears.
"Why would you tell him?! You fool!" Tzila screamed at her in her head, getting angry at his host. "You're worthless, you know that?" He insulted her again, only to receive a growl from the girl. The fairy closed her eyes and constantly battled Tzila with words of anger, hatred, and the undeniable feeling of love she held for him. He'd been with her ever since she could remember, his soft yet stern voice always being by her side in her head. If she let him out, who knows what would happen. Who knows if she'd fall in love with the man who lived in her head for years.
Cenobia slowly walked towards her twin and hugged him, nuzzling his neck as she held him close to her tightly, never wanting to let him go. "You're so dumb Amidio....but I love you regardless." She admitted, kissing his cheek.

The boy couldn't say anything. He was too shocked. His arms worked for him, automatically hugging his sister back. What? What just happened? "Cenobia . . ?" He managed to force the words out of his closed throat - somehow. "You have experience with the . . ." Amidio trailed off. This wasn't happening. This couldn't be happening. His sister? His own sister? No. "Cenny, tell me it's not true." The hellhound's voice was almost as soft as his fragile little heart as he pleaded with his twin, using the nickname that only came out when he knew or wanted her to be joking. The latter was rarely used.
[Just coz I can and want to see how Cenobia reacts- //shot]
At that moment, another member of their family happened to come into the mess. It wasn't the infamous 'Tía Tam', or 'Tía Cross', or Mama, or Papa. It was a generation back from that. A tall man with short red hair hugged the both of them as the twins were embracing. He had black at the tips of his hair, and glasses framing his big eyes. Anyone who knew the man would know the glasses hid the brightness of his blue eyes. "And how are my favourite grandchildren?" Sky asked proudly. He was still a teacher in the school, even after all these years, and he didn't look a day over thirty. Fairy ageing was good to them. That young looking face frowned when he saw the worried look on his grandson's face. "Hey, what's wrong?"
