The dirty little twin scurried down the hall of the dorms, hidden in the shadows. His blue eyes glowed in the darkness of the halls, his body covered in black, occasionally seen under the glow of the rare lights in the hall. It was late at night and that's when he was most active. His shirt was ripped and dirty, covered in dirt and blood. The young boy's ears perked up at the sound of something in the hall. "Shit..." He cursed, slinking back down the hall slowly as footsteps came closer to the young hell hound, frightened that it could be Vittoria. Having a history with that woman, Remus didn't want to get his possibly 100th, detention from her.
From her silhouette and appearance in the dark, she ungodly resembled her Aunt, Filth. Well, she always resembled her and was often mistaken for her from time to time. Remus cowered in the darkness as Augustus walked closer, thinking it was his Aunt Filth. Heels clicked against the floor, a candle in her hand. Gus smirked, seeing Remus in the shadows. "Get out of the shadows, brother. My god, you act as if you have seen a ghost." She said, her brown hair in it's usual pony-tail.
"Oh Gus, it's just you!" His tail wagged happily, yapping excitedly a bit as he stood up and hugged her tightly. Remus grinned. The young pup was always happy to see his older sister, no matter how terrifying she could be. "Have you seen Brutus around?" She asked, her voice one of worry.
"No...Why? Did something happen to him?" Remus replied, looking for Romulus himself. Gus smiled and waved him off dismissively, not wanting to worry her younger brother. "No no, I just need to talk to him." Gus's violet eyes shone in the light of the candle in her hand, her eyes teary.
They both needed their brothers.

((now i can't resist kicking Brutus in e v e BTW he's Tien so it's unlikely Remus has seen him in Dieter XD ))
Romulus was sleeping in his room, on the upper bed in Dieter dorm he and his brother shared. He was tired, so exhausted. School's barely started and he was already letting the soul escape his body from tiredness. He sighed; as if that wasn't enough, he couldn't sleep at all. Was it excitement? He didn't know. Or perhaps it was that Remus wasn't in his bed.
Sure, Remus was a jackass. Yes, Remus was a complete moron and yes, Remus was a cretin. He was the most stupid, idiotic, insane creature Romulus has ever seen - but he was worried nonetheless. Perhaps because sodding idiot couldn't take care of himself and would probably spend another sleepless night as it is. Romulus glared at the clock. If it could explode from only a glare, it would. But it didn't; after all there was no such power among Academy students. Instead, it glared back at Romulus, shining red 3:40 AM digits mocking him. Three fucking forty ante meridiem.
Romulus' head hit the pillow and he rubbed his temples. This was going to be a long night.
--
While one brother was almost pulling his hair out because of his brother's habits, the one was completely content. Well mostly, if you ignore the fact that he has just ran into Tobiah Nero - Dieter Head Boy - because he was out after curfew. But then again, that went well. Nero has written him a permission in case Vittoria caught them and scat. Brutus had a bit of guilty conscience, knowing that if it had been anyone else from Tien, Tobiah would've sent them into detention with either Filth or Holy. Brutus always hoped for Holy; he did detentions in groups and they actually only talked, only catch was to sit still. Filth had used them as personal slave and was always harder on her own kin.
Brutus left Tien dorm completely. He vaguely remembered Augustus saying something about meeting up that day. He felt guilty again. He has completely forgotten about that. If it was serious, Gus would have his head. If it was more than serious... well he didn't know. It depended. He sighed and moved towards the catacombs just outside Academy, successfully avoiding people. He hoped Gus would know where to find him.

(((Good |D THAT IS WHAT I INTENDED TO HAPPEN OHOHO~♥♥ Asdfjkl; Well Remus is an idiot so even if he did see him, he'd be like "LOLNOPEWHEREISBRUTUS.")))
Remus released her and after a few more minutes of exchanging words, the little pup ran off towards his room, leaving Gus standing in the darkness of the Dieter halls for a minute or two before she, herself, set off to find Brutus.
The young hell hound ran through the halls playfully until he reached his room. Not wanting to wake his brother, Remus slowly opened the door and closed it behind him as quietly as he could, although his efforts to do that failed when he slammed the door open. He had a bad habit of not knowing how to control his strength, especially with the most easiest tasks.
He looked up at his brother's bunk before stripping to his underwear, letting his dirty clothes fall on the floor. Such a mutt he was, yet he didn't care. Dirt was his friend. Ears twitched, tail wagged, a smile on his lips. Remus slowly climbed up into his brother's bed after putting on pajama pants, curling into what seemed to be a ball, next to his brother. "Sorry if I woke you..." He said, nudging Romulus's chest, waking the boy up if he had been asleep.
-----
Augustus groaned and took out her pony-tail once she walked outside. The air was hot and humid, making the girl groan with displeasure. Luckily, she always knew where her brother would go if she ever needed him. Walking through the wet grass in her heels seemed not to be a challenge for her, surprisingly she could run in them as well. After all, nobody could escape her if she was angry.
With her mother's temper, she stomped towards the catacombs outside the Academy. Her previous teary eyes changed into a glare that, if it could, kill. Brutus was sure to already get used to her looks of anger, so it shouldn't faze him. Yet the blood demon put it on anyway, hoping tonight he'd cower under her, although it was most unlikely.
Augustus finally caught up with him and growled out his name loud enough to hear. "Brutus Ranka!" Was the only thing that escaped her mouth before she stormed up to him and landed a punch on him, where ever she could. "Where the hell have you been!? We were supposed to meet hours ago you--" She refrained from insulting him, taking a deep breath.

The moronic, idiotic -- oh wait he was repeating himself. He had let himself be worried about his twin. He had let himself not sleep because of this just mentioned twin. And here he comes, shrugging his clothes. There. In the middle of their room. Right in the middle of room he has kept Brutus Ranka-clear because he couldn't sleep. Well-- perhaps not Brutus Ranka clean because Romulus was not that much of a neat freak. But it was somewhat clean. Somewhat. Romulus feigned sleep and decided he might as well pretend that he has been somehow offended.
That's not going to work though, not if Remus had any say apparently. Dirty cretin crawled in the bed next to Romulus, in bed that was most certainly not made for two people. It was obvious at least, but eh, what the hell. Like he could throw him out of bed, even if he wanted to.
"Where the hell have you been?" - he asked, not particularly loud, but it did sound so in the darkness.
--
((YOU VACUUM CLEANER pffft XD))
Brutus sighed, waiting. Why, why, oh why were the dirty catacombs favourite place of meeting for Ranka children, he'll never know. And not Ranka children only; the teachers barely came here, so it was perfect spot for students to meet up. He could not understand how kids could even sit on the graves... Mother told him his father spent 40 years of his life spent in filthy graveyard. Brutus was sure he'd get ticked off in 5 minutes and die from a seizure. Even now, he was walking around restlessly for fear he might get pests. Or germs or something similar.
Never in his life had Brutus been sick. Never. And he sure as hell is not going to start now because his angry little sister decided to drag him out at this time of night.
"I forgot" - he answered simply, not even bothering to justify it with anything else. This tone meant something - the argument was over. It did not matter if she believed him or not; he was not to say a word more on the subject. Stubborn bastard.
"What is it that you wanted to meet about at this ungodly hour, Gus? You better be quick, because, unlike you, I have a maze to solve to get back to my room." - he said, briefly hinting of Tien's inside look, though it was quite easy one remembered all the hallways. And Brutus did remember all the hallways. It wasn't exactly easy to go to Dieter either, after all. The spiral staircase, leading only down to rooms without any windows... He was sure he couldn't live there, god knows what bacteria is trapped inside with those inept creatures that call themselves Dieters...

"I couldn't sleep so I decided to go on an adventure!" Remus exclaimed happily. His tail thumped against the bed, under the covers, excitedly. He yawned and cuddled closer to his brother, finding safety and comfort in being near Romulus. Being born 3 minutes after Romulus certainly changed his view on his older brother. Romulus was older, and because of this, the young pup looked up to him with great admiration. Romulus always seemed to be the perfect example of an older brother, or at least that is how the dirty cretin saw it.
He nuzzled his brother's chest, shirtless himself. His ears twitched and the pup yawned again, exhausted from the 4 hours he'd been running around in the Dieter dorms alone, hunting mice and bugs for the hell of it. They were 16 but Remus looked younger. He was dirty and scrawny and looked like he did when he was maybe 12 or 13. The mutt held the very essence of ''cuteness'' or so that's how his mother explained it to him after being picked on by the other boys in the Underworld.
Remus, the dirty mutt he was, drooled all over his brother's pillow as he passed out, clinging to Romulus. The pup always enjoyed being near his brother, no matter how much they annoyed each other. In the end, it would always end up with the two in the same bed. After all...Remus always slept with his brother, whether he was cuddling him or sprawled out on the bottom of the bed.
---
((PPFT-- YES. THAT LITTLE PLEDGE WIPE xD))
Augustus sighed and sat on the edge of one of the filthy head stones, pretty sure it was the same one her mother told her about in a story. Cross mentioned the time when Holy had been released from his chains and she took the chain that bound him to the cemetery and made it her own. After all, Holy meant the world to Cross back then and he still does to her currently.
Crossing her legs, setting the candle on the head stone next to her, she smirked. "Oh it's important, besides, I wanted to make sure we were the only ones up when I discussed this with you. After all, I can't risk others finding out about this. " She admitted, playing with a strand of her soft brown hair. "Grandpa's birthday is coming up and all, you know?"
Getting right to the point, she flipped her hair back with a smirk. "I want to get a present for him...Of course, we'll have to go to Olympus to get it~" Gus stated, her tone of voice implying it would be hard to get and dangerous. "The Owl of Athena~ You know that owl that Athena always carries around? Yeah~ Well...I heard it recently had babies~ I want to give Grandpa one of those precious owls! He's always marveling over that owl when he visits his brothers and sisters~" Augustus smirked again, devilishly this time.
"Are you up for it?"

Romulus ears twitched, but not in the way Brutus' tended too. No, this was not in annoyance or because he was unable to comprehend one's 'simple mind' as his 20-years-old brother would say. No, this was because he was worried about the cretin. And he always would be and there was not a thing in the world that would change that. Not even when he crawled dirty and naked in his bed and practically stole Romulus' sleeping space.
"Did it work out well?" - he asked, honestly interested. Even though Romulus himself didn't come out nearly as much as Remus did, he still liked to hear it. Or hear it from his brother, at least. Remus could be quite a story-teller, he supposed everybody could when they had something exiting to say.
Or maybe he was sleeping? There wasn't much difference so the older couldn't really tell. He hugged his brother and decided to go to sleep as well; but his blue eyes kept scanning the room over and over. He was sure he could hear some voices outside. Couples, or something. Their room was far below ground level in Dieter dorms. Students could be out after curfew.
--
Unlike his sister, no, Brutus didn't feel like sitting in all of that dirt, thank you very much. Unknown to him, Romulus' ears twitched and so did his, but in a completely different way. He was quite disgusted with his sister behavior. To say he was worried for her health would be to lower things down considerably. He was terrified. Which was, truth be told, irrational, but hey, this was Brutus Ranka we are speaking of here.
"The owl of Athena?" - his ears perked up and he brushed black hair out of his eyes - which was probably something quite close to a miracle since Brutus' hair was always well-kept and in place. - "That could be dangerous." - he stated.
Sure, Brutus has helped his father. Heck, he was trained by both of his parents and his aunt, which was greater in his eyes. Filth rarely took in any students, apart from Academy, but when she did, she made them do their best and in turn she thought them her best. She has thought him things his parents probably only read or, in best case, saw. He was guarding Underworld - on a punishment, admittedly, Cross is a tough woman when she wants to be - and he was still twitching in disgust on the memory, but it did do him good.
In his 'full hellhound form', as he called it even though it wasn't exactly full, Brutus was quite different than he usually was. The blue eyes would go yellow, the whites would turn black, but his most remarkable traits were probably huge teeth and two horns. Demon stays a demon, after all.
That rarely happened. And that was mostly induced by Gus. Of course that was this time as well.
"You have to be crazy." - he commented and willed himself NOT to get the horns out. That may make him look angry, which he, miraculously, wasn't.
"Of course I'm in." - he said and crossed his arms on his chest - "When do we take off?"

Hours continued to pass as the moon slowly faded out of the sky, the clock in their room ticking along without a falter. Time seemed to stop when Remus was with his brother, or so he thought at least, yet that damn clock would make reality creep through his thoughts and pull him back. Time didn't stop for nothing. The cretin let out a little snore and intertwined their legs together, pulling the other a little bit closer than before. Warm finger tips caressed Romulus' chest, the younger one playing with the other once his eyes slowly fluttered open.
"I can't sleep brother.'' He whispered softly with hope his brother was indeed awake. The younger boy's voice was one with a hint of fear and drowsiness, a hushed melody of one who awoke from a nightmare. "Those awful dreams are back." Remus simply stated, using the same voice as before.
His ears twitched quickly at the sound of the clock no longer ticking, well at least...that's what Remus heard. Why did it stop ticking? Why was time stopping? It never stopped, no matter what. Cretin tried to concentrate at what was going on, his fingers tangled in the other's hair as he shook gently, tears in his eyes.
Remus had a habit of getting ungodly nightmares ever since he was little, it was just a part of him. Some nights he embraced the darkness of them, and other nights...he was terrified. "You're a hell hound honey, those dreams are meant to strengthen you, not frighten you." His mother would reassure him...but mother wasn't here.
"I'm a coward, aren't I?" His voice shook as he slowly calmed down, regaining his composure as he loosened his grip on the other. Ears pinned down, Remus sighed and closed his eyes, calm now. The clock once again began ticking again and the harsh imagination the boy had, dissolved into reality.
--
"If i'm crazy, you're crazy too." Gus said, a smirk on her face. Cold hands slowly grazed over his cheek as he stroked his skin with her thumb, having went over to the other as his ears twitched. "After all, we're not really normal...are we Brutus? So we must be crazy, crazy isn't normal. Besides, Father is crazy and so is Mother." Her words flew out of her mouth quickly, not a breath taken during her dialogue.
Augustus yawned simply and petted his ears, playing with them gently. "How about you quit being rude to your sister and just follow along like a good pup, yes?" She taunted him with a devilish smile.
"Pledge wipe, follow." Gus laughed as she headed out of the catacombs, expecting her moron of a brother to follow.
((jhdskfjhsdkfj too wiped out to type a long thing for Gus and Brutus LOL Love you bbyboo))
