e v e Bonus points if you know what song that is fro- /shot ]]
Zeev was... what was he like, anyway? Superficially, he was sort of small for a werewolf. Werewolves are supposed to have tell-tale characteristic. He wasn't tall (he was taller than average girl... not tall enough for a guy). His eyesbrows did not meet at the middle of his forehead (ew, no, he will NOT allow that). He didn't have many muscles (he didn't have any muscles.... He was a twig, let's be honest). And he looked like any other teenager would look (to his great misfortune, he looked younger than 20, so that was a drawback as well).
Then again... where was he, again? Zeev really, really needed to stop zoning out. He raised his hand, letting his fingers through his hair, the part that was bubblegum pink ever since he was able to transform, a year ago. Zeev was zoning out again... He had more important problem on his hands, then the question of what he was like, inside and outside, and the fact that his hair was pink.
That problem meant, actually, that he was not able to find his dorm. He had no idea, if he were to be completely honest, where he was. Perhaps other students, those who were in Tien for a while, knew where to go and how to find a way, but he did not. He was so lost in the maze that lead from Tien's easily approachable common room to well-hidden dorm. Zeev was pretty sure that if there was a raid on the Academy, they could all hide in Tien dorms and they'd be safe. Yes. This was rather accurate, from his point of view.
Few more turns and he was as long as he was just moments ago. He is going to stay here and nobody will find him and he will starve and die before anybody comes... OK, so that might've been the overreaction, more than just a slight one. The werewolf slid down the nearest wall, the inexistance of tail making this task easier than it would normally be with it and, for once, Zeev was thankful. He should've picked Dieter. It would've been so much easier. He wouldn't be lost. He'd be FAR underground, admittedly, as only few rooms had these miniature windows (he already heard that Dieter was built in former cell block...), but it would perhaps be easier to find you room than in his hell called 'maze'. Kitchen. Tien was supposedly built where the kitchen was, or so he heard. Lies. Surely it was the other way around. They would throw the prisoners in here, free, and tell them that if they escaped, they could break free. That's the torture. That's how it was, in Zeev's eyes at least (and in Zeev's eyes only, fortunately or unfortunately it depended on the view).
The werewolf sighed and shook his head lightly. What dorm was he again? ...8? ...7? He wasn't entirely sure. He'll find it... eventually. Thinking of it only sent his groaning. He was so lost.

Ohoho I know the song e v e The invisible wall - Gazette, right? e v e Also so sorry asdfghjk-- this was a little all over the place ; v ; next reply will be better > v < ))
Nathaniel Sinclair was strange in a way that made him almost normal. He had a god-awful sense of fashion, as proven by his casual clothing on the weekend which -thankfully as some would say- he wasn’t wearing right now. Besides that, he never slept. Or, in theory he shouldn’t... He forced himself to sleep, which only made him strange to fellow vampires, so it seemed he couldn’t win either way. He spent the nights walking around the Game World, poorly attempting to ease both boredom and gnawing at the back of his mind telling him to simply do it-- There was no real explanation for it.
Speaking of which...Where was he? Dammit. Again... He really did need to start paying more attention, because this was just getting ridiculous. In fact, where was he going? It sounds stupid, to think someone could forget something as obvious as where they were going, but true nevertheless. This was another one of those things that made him strange in an oddly mundane way. It was just how Nate was. He would start walking, start thinking about other things the same time, and then forget what he was initially planning to do.
So here he was, walking through endless corridors Tien’s maze held. Even now he occasionally got lost, and though he’ll never admit it, he wished he’d chosen Dieter. It had much easier layout, nicer dorm colours... Sure, the people weren’t quite...The same, but Dieter had its perks nevertheless. Why was Tien so complicated? No one ever explained the reason for the maze-like- design, or Dieter’s depth...Huh. And right now, Nate was lost, ironically. Ok, maybe not ‘lost’ but more...absentmindedly wandering around the less known parts of his dorm. Yeah, that was it. So he did the next best thing and turned every corner until he found something familiar...
And as he turned the corner, he did not find something familiar, though he did find something. Or rather, someone. He paused, tilting his head to the side ever so slightly. Was that a student? If so, Nate hadn’t met him yet. After all, Nate was kind of new himself, to an extent. Well, not really, just that he stuck with his small group of friends and hadn’t really socialised much after that. Well, anyway, this teen? Yes, teen. He didn’t seem anything over Nate’s own age of 18. He seemed...Distressed, yes.
“Hello...?” – He asked while crouching down, forearm resting on his knee. It was safe to assume that students who have been here any longer than Nate would not be sitting on the floor in what looked like utter defeat. New student it was. – “Sorry to bother you, but...Are you ok? You just seem...” – He never finished his sentence, because let’s face it he’ll most likely offend poor student if he did. So instead he added a small, what some would call awkward chuckle and shrugged. Too bad he couldn’t shrug off his horrible socialising skills and gain better ones.
“I’m Nate Sinclair, nice to meet you.” – Nate said while extending his hand -which was being used as a support up until now- towards the other, which inevitably led to the vampire losing his balance and stumbling forward. Or, well, would have, if he hadn’t used the wall to stop himself. And he was not-so-subtly staring at the other’s bubblegum pink hair every chance he got, since he now had the mind of a 5-year-old it seemed. Ugh. An embarrassment would be too kind of a statement to describe Nate right now.
Awkward conversations, staring, almost falling into the poor guy...He was making such a good first impression.
“Sorry if I’m wrong, but are you a new student? It’s just that I haven’t seen you around until now...”

Zeev had been almost... dear God, he had not fallen asleep had he? He had to work on this... falling asleep at most random places was not good, no no. But he was just so bored (ha! What do you know? Bored when you're alone? Was that like... unusual to happen?) He rubbed his eyes and even though there were no windows and light, except some little that came from candles on those incredibly tall walls. Zeev was pretty sure that somebody claustrophobic wouldn't have problem being locked up in here. Just this hallway in a maze was almost as big as a room he used to have (which was not small, mind you).
So lost in his own thoughts, he almost missed it. Almost. That smell. The vampire. In his own culture, difference was small. One were shapeshifers that shifted into wolves, the others shifter into bats. Great difference. Zeev himself had quite unhealthy love for blood. So... there was a vampire near. He raised his eyes, olive eyes looking at another shade of green and damn, did he really not see him come until now? Zeev couldn't get away any further. If he could, he would have, though. He blinked at the other, frowning slightly.
"I--" - what him? What did he seem like? Whatever it was the vampire tried to say, it was probably correct - "I'm fine." - the werewolf huffed in the end, crossing his arms on his chest. One of his ears, the pink one, twitched, as a clear sign that he was lying and that he was indeed lost, but how was other suppose to know what it meant? Besides, he could always deny it, if vampire guessed my one miracle or another. Speaking of vampire... was he in Tien as well? Zeev certainly hoped he was not of Dieters that liked to wander around, even though he didn't know how they would.
Then Nate almost fell into him and even though the other was able to get regain his balance in time, Zeev hissed and removed himself as far from Nate's person as possible. Which basically meant the other wall but whatever. He was apparently not the person for close contact. Then he got tad ashamed of his reaction and his ears flattened down to his head.
"Is it that obvious?" - he asked in the end, as if his earlier action was not the indicator.

He didn’t like to stereotype, or be rude in anyway, but there was the faintest scent of what could only be described as dog emanating from the student. He most likely didn’t smell like this at all, it was just a weird vampire sense. Sixth sense, to be exact. It was as if you could sense what specie a person was, even before asking. Vampires just knew other vampires. It was to be expected –knowing what your own specie feels like to be around. Nate couldn’t describe how it works exactly, since every creature had a different feeling to them...
The point of that was to conclude Nate just felt something that told him this new student was related to werewolves maybe? Isabel –the woman who turned him into a vampire to begin with- had explained how new vampires had these kind of sense for a certain number of years until it either disappears completely or grows stronger –more stable- and sticks with you. It’s a bit of luck right there, a 50-50 chance of it happening. Nate didn’t exactly care whether it stayed or left, but he did care about how this half-assed version made him feel sick, nauseated even. Of course, the nausea would pass within minutes of it starting, but it wasn’t a fun feeling to have, no matter how short the period of time it lasts.
And of course Nate had ruined things before they even begun. After all, the other was on the opposite wall now (after hissing at him which was always a kick to the self-confidence, just saying) in obvious attempts to flee from the vampire. Not due to specie, no. By the looks of it, this peculiar student didn’t like people getting too close. Somewhere to the back of his mind, Nate noted to not break the personal space bubble again if possible.
“Sorry, sorry! It was an accident-- I didn’t mean to fall into you--” – And of course, Nate wouldn’t be Nate without ruining a perfectly good conversation and needing to restart after a sigh. Though, it did give him the perfect opportunity to position himself to be sitting with his back slouched against the wall opposite to Zeev. At least he could face the other and have a conversation with him now (a good thing too, since said other had started talking again, with a question nonetheless).
“What? No, no, of course not. I just...I haven’t seen you around before, so I kind of assumed.” – Nate carefully left out the part of how defeated Zeev looked on the floor since the suspected werewolf would only feel worse if it was mentioned, no doubt. And the hurt in his own voice, because said werewolf’s actions hardly made him feel great about himself, even if the action was completely understandable.
“Also, not many of us tend to sit down in the Tien corridors, you know.” – Nate said, smiling in hopes of not coming across too patronising. God, he hated even the idea of being patronising to someone. And he hated staring, which he was doing (staring at Zeev’s ears, to be precise. When they twitched so much, it was hard not to notice them). So of course he averted his gaze ever so slightly, because it was the best brunette could do right now. – “We prefer the common room - be it ours or Dieter’s, though personally Tien’s nicer. Less… Drama, you could say.
Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. The name’s Nate. Nice too meet you, even with the whole falling into you and stuff... Anyway, what’s your name? That is, if you don’t mind me asking...”
