Of twins and large families [Cain/Abel]

Cain was writing an.. well let's call it an essay. It was more of a report for one class he was in, really, but report sounded so lame and besides, it didn't have any grades on it. He tucked the red lock behind the right ear, his blue eyes flickering over the paper and he bit his tongue in concentration. Narrowing his eyes, he tried to remember everything he knew of this, but his mind was not cooperating. He couldn't concentrate. Still, with a precision he wasn't sure he inherited from, he was writing out letters, careful, very careful not to spill ink, because using a pen was just so boring.

Vaguely, he wondered what his siblings were doing now. Some of the answers were already there - Octavia was out harassing somebody, Scanlon was with Tobiah and Noll (or maybe Tia was with Noll... Or maybe Tia was with Benny). Ahana surely was... somewhere being asocial as per usual. Cain himself didn't meet many people, not yet. He usually sticked to Abel, somewhat safer since he knew him already. It was always easier knowing, or at least that's what he thought. He knew Octavia disagreed, he knew Ahana didn't care, he knew Benny would find it equally difficult because... new people. They were a big family, but usually they sticked together. New people were not really... option.

Speaking of family and siblings... where was the devil? By the devil of course, he meant Abel, do not let the name fool like like they fooled many others. Cain was the good one. Well... as good as one bansheefter can be. Which is not much, if you judge by the existing ones.

Cain was inside their room, writing his report as if god himself was going to light him on fire if he dropped ink in the wrong place, and Abel did not want to make his report right now. He couldnt convince his twin to stop and go out with him, many hours ago, but now he was just so bored! He tried visiting Scan but he was with Tobiah and Noll, and Tia too (she's totally got the hots for Noll. She just doesn't know yet). Ahana was, surprise! Playing pokemon. Benny was out with his mother.

Abel was going to lay dramatically on the puff of the common room until someone came to entertain him, since it usually worked with Scanlon, but decided against. Big brother doing something is never a good reason to do it too.

So Abel just went back to their dorm, and entered withour knocking. He hugged Cain's neck from behind, and complained. "Stop doing school stuff and come harrass our brother with me.", he said, pouting.

So, to the moron who decided to strangle him when he was at the last fucking row of his homework, they won't need a God to light them on fire, no. Cain would be more than happy to do so himself, when he just got his hands on the culpri-- well that was a surprise there, wasn't it? He didn't know who else he expected.

"Hello Abel." - he greeted the other devil half-heartedly, always the one for manners at worse time and also always the one for swearing at worst time (take a notice at 'God' and 'fucking' at the same sentence just few moments ago. One would think he was bipolar if they could so much as read his thoughts).

But he did not shrug Abel off himself, miraculously. Really, he didn't know what he was thinking. He should've assumed it was his brother by now. Surely he got used to this before.

"Alright, Mr Bored Ass. What do you suggest we do?" - so much for being the nicer twin. Some genes just sucked, he supposed.

Abel sighed. "Dunnooooooooo.", he said, letting go of his brother and flopping on one of the beds. "As I said, we could go bother big brother, but he's probably with his fucking boyfriend and I dont think I want to see them for a while.", he shuddered. Not after what he had seen last time.

Never.

Fucking.

Ever.

Again.

He rolled over and smirked to his twin. "One day,", he whispered as if telling a secret. "Scanlon will show up pregnant or woth a storm Scan plus Tobiah spawn, and that day, I'll scream 'I TOLD YOU SO' so loud, you have no idea, Cain-o.", he said. He didnt doubt it, not a single bit. Not after what he saw that time.

Never, ever, again. Oh god.

Anyway. "What'ru doing then?"
