She shook her head and hugged him again, putting her hands over the same place.
"No." was all she could think to say. Dizzy didn't know what to say to him to make him change his mind, but she would try all the same. "I need ingrediants for potions . . . I've memorised a lot of them, but I'll need rare things . . . just trust me ok? Or, trust Tam, she knows what she's doing." She'll be here soon, she thought. Or I hope she will . . .

jake trusted her but this didn't stop his shaking." ok but don't say i didn't warn you." the only way jake could protect tam was by doing the one thing he hated most. " your not gonna like what you see, so you might want to keep your eyes closed." the captors pulled out more stakes one even had a crossbow, which to jake seemed a little stupid....but those stakes though they terrified him. one wrong move and he'd be a pile of ashes on the floor and god only knows what they'd do to dizzy.
" lets kill this vampire and get this over with." the captors ran towards jake and dizzy ready to strike with the stakes. without second guessing himself jake pushed dizzy away and leapt onto one of the captors sinking his fangs into his neck and draining him off blood." that's so gro-" jake was cut short by the stakes that had pierced his back, they weren't aiming at this point they were just stabbing him and a few had hit his heart barely but it was enough to send him into a world of fear and pain. his body began shaking more, his eyes became wide and his pupils small, jake was scared he was gonna die
of the last two captors one decide to have some fun with dizzy. "come here me and you are gonna have us some private fun time." the captor tried to drag her over to a more comfortable spot.

Dizzy frowned and tried to pull that scary 'I'm angry' face that Tam seemed to pull 24/7. She then tried to kick her captor away, grunting with effort and wishing she was as strong as Tam. "Get away from me!!" she shouted. "You think I'd let someone like you do anything to me?! Like I'm losing my virginity to you!!" In the back of her mind, Tam was sighing in that 'what will I do with you?' way. The girl then panicked and wondered if she had made a fool of herself. She probably had, but then that was nothing new. So instead of panicking she looked at Jake and saw he was a little too busy to help.
"Hang in there Jake!" she called. "Just wait, I'll be there now!" She jumped as she realised that was what Tam was saying to her. Dizzy balled up her fist and punched the hunter in the face, whining in pain thanks to the magic she had used earlier hurting her hand.

the hunter stumbled backwards from the punch, angered he retaliated by raising a stake up to stab dizzy. "i'm gonna have fun killing you, you fuckin fairy." as the hunter swong down there was a horrible bone cracking noise followed by a spurt of blood then a pained gasp as jake had made his way in front of the hunter to stop him from hurting dizzy, the stake had pierced his heart but his will to keep dizzy safe was keeping him alive for the time being.
"i...i'm....sorry i got....you into ....this m...mess." jake coughed blood spilling out of his mouth. "k...keep t...tam ...alive." jake pushed backwards into the hunter knocking them both down. jake held him down with his body weight, the other hunter was a very thin guy so dizzy could easily handle him.

Dizzy barely heard herself scream. Her eyes were wide with horror. "JAKE!!!"
She didn't even look at the hunters before running to Jake and kneeling by him. "Jake, you idiot!!" She felt the tears sliding down her cheeks, something she couldn't help noticing Tam would never do. "Why'd you do that?! You're hurt!!! I could have fought him off!! You're so stupid!!"

jake heard dizzy's voice and all he could so was smille. trying to talk but only spaced words came out. " dizzy....*coughs* ...tam...*coughs* ...alive" jake wrenched the stake free from his chest and impaled it into the hunter he was on top of throat. as soon as the hunter was dead jake rolled off of him and onto his back. "s-sorry ....couldn't....hurt..." jake was having problems breathing.

"Jake please!!" she screamed again. "Don't die!!! Please don't!!! I won't let you die!!" She shook her head in the way she had the first time she had found Tam half dead. "Dammit!!!" she screamed quickly and stood up, looking around for medicane of some sort, even medical equipment she could use magic to turn into the right supplies.

jake watched as the other hunter made his way over to dizzy, he was unable to move. he just laid there watching as everything around him began spinning and faded in and out. he wanted to no he needed to protect dizzy she was his friend and tam's only way to stay alive or so he believed. it didn't matter if he died he was a no body a lowly dhampire that had nothing going for him. " d.....dizzy" jakes instinctive urge to protect or rather hunt to survive kicked in, as he began to crawl towards the hunter. " d...dizzy...DIZZY!!"

"Don't move stupid!!" she barked and turned to the hunter. "Don't even think about it. I'm no fighter, but I know enough self defence to knock you on your butt. Then when my sister arrives, she'll be angry, and she'll kick your butt more." Dizzy always surprised herself when she acted calm like this. It was natural to her to not panic, but in this situation she could die. Like, die. Shouldn't I be panicking at least a little? She thought as she knelt down by Jake. She put her hands over his chest lightly, trying desparatly to remember any sort of healing spell. "C'mon Tam . . . we need help . . ."

the hunter stopped in his tricks and stood still he wasn't a killer nor did he have the physical strength to attack someone.
jake looked up at dizzy and mustered up a weak smile. " n-no...i don't want......h-her to....see me like this." jake raised his hand up and touched dizzy's cheek. "tam needs you alot...so it's ok if i die...but promise me this one thing.....d-don't let her kill herself." jake chest rose up and down as he breathed soon slowing but not stopping. " t-this is a-almost ...funny.i sent f-for help and i end up d-dying still.... but i..if i hadn't would...i have died f-for ...nothing."

What do I say? she thought desparatly. "Jake, you're not going to die. I promise you that." Dizzy looked at his chest. She put her hand on it and looked at the blood on her hand. A few months ago it would have made her almost faint, but now she was used to it. She put her other hand onto his chest and gathered more blood onto her hand. "It'll be painful, but I know how to stop the bleeding for now . . ." The little fairy rubbed her hands together and closed her eyes, concentrating on the blood on her finger tips. She focused and they started bleeding more. Then she put her hands back on his chest, mumbling in Spanish a spell. Dizzy made her blood flow into his wound, along with some of his own. After she made half of his blood vanish, she stiffened her hands which made the blood freeze. "I can keep this up for a bit, but only until Tam gets here. She'll be able to close it properly." Nervously, she looked back at the still hunter, to make sure he wasn't going to attack them.

jake grabbed dizzy's hands and pulled them off his chest. " s-stop.... d-don't hurt....yourself for....a lowly dhampire...." he smiled up at her as a way to reassure that he was almost ok with dying he'd finally be able to be happy without having to keep running away. he kept his smile on his face as he spoke once more." j-j-just....wish ...i cou...could've had the chance....to be loved back...." jake loosened his grip and his arm fell to the ground and his eyes closed, his pulse rate lowered significantly and to someone who was untrained they would have assumed he was dead.

"Jake!" she shouted, not bothering to check his pulse like how she would've done with Tam. "Jake!!! Jake open your eyes!!! JAKE!!!" Dizzy felt tears in her eyes. She had never seen someone die like this, even when her mother died she had been asleep.
With a bang the door flew off, revealing a black boot. When the dust from the door settled, a small figure with red and black hair stepped into the room. She put her hands on her hips and looked around. "Wow, you two really did some damage in here. Look at the blood," her slightly Spanish accent sang as Tam walked to her sister. "What's the problem?"
"Tamitha Amber Night!!" Dizzy barked. "Where have you been?! Jake's dying! If not dead!"
That got her to stop messing around. The younger fairy's big eyes looked at Jake. "Hey, dumbass, wake up!!! You said you wanted to die WITH me, remember?! I'm not letting you die before me!!!"

jake's mind had taken him to his world and had him aimlessly floating. it was a peaceful time, he imagined this was his body's way of preparing him for dying. however something was different there was a song playing this time, a song he never heard before but some how it felt comforting. he listened to the song letting it fill his soul and body." so....peaceful.." as he continued listening to it something about it seemed off, a voice was out of place.
Hey, dumbass, wake up!!!.... ..."whose there...this voice....it sounds familar..." he rolled his head to each side looking for the source of the voice." You said you wanted to die WITH me..... remember?!!
jake stood up as everything went to a bright light and turned white. " is this my time....can i finally be happy?" jake began walking towards the light but stopped when he heard the voice again turning around to look for it. I'm not letting you die before me! "who is that??"
as he turned back around he was met by himself or rather his subconscious. it placed a hand on his chest to stop him from going any further " nows not your time, you still have so much left to live for. make yourself happy, but most importantly never let go of the people you hold dear." with that the music stopped playing, everything went back to normal, however jake was still in his world lost." THE EXIT, TAM!!!" jake looked around with distress and stopped at a door he hadn't seen before. he ran to it and flung it open, as he did he was met by a blinding light.
as he was able to see again he could tell he was laying on the floor from seeing his body with tam and dizzy around it. he floated over to tam, whispered in her ear. " you won't die before me because i won't ever let you die." he hugged her and proceeded to lay down in his body.
after jake returned to his body, he began coughing, his eyes slowly opened looking up at tam and dizzy." h...hey....did i miss....the party or....something?"

Tam felt the hairs stand up on the back of her neck. She felt something, maybe someone, around her. She looked behind her, then heard something else. It was a human voice, but she couldn't make out what it was saying. She resisted the urge to run out of the place screaming as she drove a knife into her heart as the thing then wrapped itself around her. She shivered, earning a worried look from Dizzy before they heard Jake speak.
Dizzy looked back at him quickly and burst into happy tears. "Y-you're alive!!"
Her sister rolled her eyes. "You're so weird Diz," she put her hand on Jake's forehead. "I think he's ok. He's breathing and speaking, so he should be fine." The fairy stood up and looked for the last hunter. She wanted to hit something.
"Jake, how are you feeling?!" Dizzy quickly asked. "Does it hurt anywhere?! Everywhere?! Quick, I need to know because I have to heal you!!"
