"You're pathetic," the fairy's voice suddenly went cold. "You lay there, begging for your life. The least you could do is die with dignity."
"Hm," Dizzy pondered for a second, thinking of the right words. "She has trust issues, mainly . . . she won't let anyone in, anyone outside our family . . . it's ever since she developed this paranoia, hearing these voices and whatnot . . . she just shut out the whole world, even though she's afraid of being alone . . . I can't tell, either it's because she doesn't want to hurt her friends, or she doesn't trust them enough to let anyone in to help her . . . and then there's her obsession with being strong . . . she hates feeling weak or like a child, so she's constantly trying to prove that she's stronger than what people think, or that she can act older than what she is . . . which means she wants to do everything by herself, so that might be a reason . . ." She sighed. "There's just so many things that could help towards all this . . . I don't know where to start to try and fix it . . ."

the hunter began panicking, he was shaking badly. he wanted to live.

jake stopped and starred at dizzy then spoke sincere from his heart. " dizzy on my oath as a dhampire and the blood that pumps through my veins, i swear i will find away into your sisters heart and find away to help her trust people again or die trying."

"Look at you," she continued. "I try to commit suicide every week, and every time I feel that knife, I don't flinch. You probably knew that something like this could get you killed, and you're chickening out. You coward."
Dizzy stopped as well, then looked at him for a second. She searched his face and saw that he was speaking straight from his heart, his core existence. She hadn't seen many people who had spoke like that around her, much less about her own sister. And here he was, offering to die for her sake. The thought made her solemn face crack a small smile. "She doesn't want someone who will die for her," the girl explained. "She wants someone who will fight her to make her stronger, someone who will show her how to improve, let her take care of herself and trust her to do that. Someone once did that to her, and she fell very deep in love with him. She said it was a crush, but if that's a crush then I'm not a fairy. He broke her heart so many times, but she kept loving him and loving him. If you can find a way to make her trust you, you'll become friends. If you become friends, you'll become best friends. If you become best friends, there's a chance she'll fall in love with you too. Just think about that."

the hunter started to cry then scream." PLEASE SPARE ME!!"

jake smiled. " i trust that tam is a strong woman that can take care of herself and i'll do everything to help make her stronger." he walked next to dizzy. " but one thing i won't do is stand idly by as she loses herself and potentally dies." he starts to walk back to where he was held captive. " i'm going to go get tam."

"Pathetic," she repeated as she circle her prey. The more you beg for your life, the slower I'm going to make this."
"Jake!" the little fairy squeaked, pulling his arm. "You can't go back!!! More could turn up!! You have to trust Tam to get out of there!!"

jake pulled his arm free. " I do trust but i'm not taking the chance of her getting hurt." he started to walk again. " leave if you want to."

the hunter tried running for the door but it was slammed open by a mob of people, having heard word of a dhampire in the area.

"Jake, please!" Dizzy grabbed his arm again. "Please Jake, please! She won't want you to do it!!"
Tam looked at the mob and stepped back on instinct. She didn't like all those people appearing at once. She went to her knees and picked up her discarded dagger, holding it to her chest for protection.

jake stared at dizzy with anger and disbelief. "regardless of what she would want i'm not leaving her there by herself what if more people show up. what if something happens to her could you live with yourself for letting that happen?"

the mob quickly swarmed tam and pinned her to the ground, as a man with a rather large rusty knife made his way through the crowd.

"You have to trust me," Dizzy's voice went quiet. "Tam can take care of herself. If you go bursting in there, she'll think you don't trust her, and if you end her fight then she'll see herself as weak. I've only just got her to almost snap out of all that. Please don't destroy what I've worked so hard to achieve."
"Hey!!!" Tam screamed. "Get off me!!!" Her small hand reached for her dagger that had got knocked out of them. It was just out of reach, but she knew she could defend herself if need be. "What do you want with me?!"

jake looked at dizzy. " WHAT IF SHE'S IN DANGER THOUGH OR WORSE!! are you willing to take that chance dizzy because i'm not."

the mob started to kick her as the held her down and the man with the knife finally made his way to tam. " we want to know where the dhampire is."

Dizzy got impatient. "Jake, just trust her, will you?! If you love her, you won't go back because you'll do her more harm!!"
"'The dhampire'?" Tam laughed, a hint of demonicness in it. "Is that what you call Jake? Well I'm sorry, I don't know where he is." She ignored the pain as the mob kicked her. Actually, she quite enjoyed it. She hoped she'd bleed.

jake gave dizzy a look of pure terror and worry. "what if she's in danger because of me i can't live with that i have to check." jake turned away from dizzy and started running towards the hut.

the leader of the mob with the rusty ripped open tam's shirt to expose her chest. he trailed the knife down from her cheek to her chest." it's gonna be fun piercing this beating little heart."

just as the mob leader had said that jake had made it back to the hut and was looking inside the window" ...tam, shit what am i gonna do."

"Jake!!" Dizzy's call echoed around her then vanished with Jake. She hugged herself and shivered from an imaginary breeze. "I have a bad feeling about this . . ."
"Go on then!!! Kill me!!!" her mouth was wide in a grin. "Just tell me why you want me first you pervy old man!!! Ripping my top open like that is bad manners." Just a little longer, she told her mind, make her thoughts stroke the voices like pets. I'll let you talk to me however much you want, just let me find out some information first, then you can come out to play and we'll kill all these people together . . .

jake's head was buzzing with what to do, the only thing he could think of was to give himself up to the mob to save tam but that might hurt her more then help her."what do i do?"

the mob leader brought the knife down and sank it into her chest missing her heart on purpose. "to reasons really you obviously have a connection to that dhampire and fairies sell for a pretty penny on the black market."

jake was enraged seeing tam stabbed he took a few steps back then ran at the window crashing through it and pouncing on the leader ripping his throat out with his fangs. blood dripped down from his mouth giving him a more terrifying look then normal. " DO NOT TOUCH MY FRIEND!!"

Instead of screaming in pain like her instincts were telling her to, Tam hid the pain by laughing. "For starts, to sell me on a black market would require me in a good condition, and for starters, I've got something wrong with my mind, plus you've just stabbed me!!" She looked at Jake. "Get out!!! I can do this myself!!!"
